RecycleMania, a national competition to mobilize waste reduction at colleges and universities, is accepting case study submissions for creative waste reduction or educational campaigns. The RecycleMania Campus Engagement Case Study Competition is a way for colleges and universities to showcase their efforts to reduce waste and influence institutional and personal practices.
There are three types of initiatives that schools can apply to be recognized for: Food Waste Reduction, Waste Minimization (other than food), and Education/Awareness Campaign. Submissions are judged based on the project’s impact, replicability, creativity, and the quality of details.
The winners in each category will be recognized with a national award certificate from RecycleMania, honored on the RecycleMania website, invited to participate in a webinar. The deadline to submit a RecycleMania case study description is Friday, May 12, 2017.
