RecyclingWorks in Massachusetts is developing best management practices for building professionals to help increase recycling and reuse of construction and demolition waste. RecyclingWorks is coordinating a stakeholder engagement process that will inform the development of this guidance. RecyclingWorks is hosting three large stakeholder meetings across the states to learn about the experience of contractors, architects, C&D haulers and processers, and others involved in the C&D waste stream with reuse and recycling of these materials.
The first multi-stakeholder meeting on June 23 which will coincide the MassDEP C&D Subcommittee Meeting. In addition to discussing the C&D stakeholder engagement process, the meeting agenda will cover other construction and demolition news and efforts in the Commonwealth. This meeting is open to the public.
