The RecyclingWorks in Massachusetts 2022 Fall Forum webinar will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, November 9th from 10:00am to 12:00pm. MassDEP and RecyclingWorks will share updates and resources to help businesses and institutions comply with waste disposal bans on commercial food waste, textiles, and mattresses.
Attendees will hear from Worleybeds and HandUp, Needham Community Council Thrift Store and HELPSY, and Bentley University and SwagCycle about successful programs and best practices to recover textiles and mattresses for reuse and recycling. The Secondary Materials and Recycled Textiles Association (SMART) will speak about the association and the bigger picture of the textile recovery marketplace in Massachusetts.
