The 2020 Spring WasteWise Forum will take place on Thursday, April 16 from 8:30am – 12:00pm at Brandeis University. The focus of this Forum is ‘Back to Basics’, and will provide waste diversion training for facility managers of large organizations. The goal of this training is to provide facility managers with the information and tools necessary to establish and manage effective solid waste, recycling, and organics diversion programs, with an emphasis on reducing contamination. Attendees will go on a ‘movement of materials’ tour of the university, and participate in an interactive discussion to share successes and troubleshoot common challenges in operations, training, education, and more.

The WasteWise Forum is a joint program run by RecyclingWorks in Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP), and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA).

Attendees are welcome to purchase lunch on campus and network after the event. College & University representatives are encouraged to register separately for the 2020 College & University Forum, which will take place at Brandeis on the same day from 12:30pm – 4:00pm in the same room as the WasteWise Forum.

The full agenda will be posted shortly.
