Practice Greenhealth announced its partnership with Feeding America to encourage food donation from the health care sector. Practice Greenhealth is a resource for the health care sector to access and learn about environmental solutions. The nonprofit membership organization partnered with Feeding America, a nonprofit hunger relief organization of 200 food banks nationwide, to reduce food waste and provide food to those living at risk of hunger.
Practice Greenhealth also plans to launch its “Less Food to Landfill” toolkit to their hospital members. This toolkit will include goals, measures, a “get-started” guide, a learning series, and more resources for members to increase food donation and waste reduction.

This workshop, which is part of Harvard Food Law and Policy Clinic’s Reduce and Recover: Save Food for People conference, will help connect food service businesses to food rescue programs.
