    Rescuing Leftover Cuisine (RLC) is a nonprofit organization that redistributes surplus consumable food to feed people, not landfills.

    RLC crowdsources community members as volunteer “Rescuers” who use our purpose-built web app to rescue leftover cuisine from businesses and deliver it at no cost to our nonprofit partners that serve people who are hungry and food insecure. 

    Food Donor Partners include restaurants, hotels, schools, caterers, corporate businesses and others. Nonprofit Partners include shelters, soup kitchens and any organization that serves the underserved.

    • Donating your excess food is legal, ethical and safe
    • Your business will receive benefits such as publicity and reduced disposal costs; and food vendors receive documentation for eligibility of enhanced tax incentives.
    • We have no minimum requirement for pickup, can rescue any type of consumable excess food and will work around your schedule for ad hoc and/or recurring pickups.
