More Than Words is a nonprofit social enterprise that empowers youth who are in the foster care system, court involved, homeless, or out of school to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business. More Than Words accepts donations of books, CD's, DVD's, vinyl records, and video games, as well as all gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories at our store locations and at numerous Donation Containers. We do not accept linens, sheets, or other non-clothing textiles.

Donations go directly into our teams hands as we manage our own online used book business and retail and community space. Youth develop the employment skills, leadership, and self-confidence they need to successfully transition to adulthood. Not only do youth learn skills by selling books, but the earned revenue makes it possible to provide workshops that teach how to budget money, plan education goals, and build a resume.
