South Shore community action council is a local non profit community service program, helping people in need.
The food bank provides food and food related items to over 70 food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters and to school backpack programs. We accept donations of nonperishable and perishable foods. We will also accept donations of food related items, like plastic storage containers, reusable water bottles, pet food, etc.
There is not a loading dock, but an electric pallet jack and a manual pallet jack are available. We have large agency vans to do some pick ups.
The warehouse is open 9:00am to noon, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
