Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital will host the 2019 Spring WasteWise Forum on Wednesday May 1st 8:30AM – 12:00PM. The WasteWise Forum is a joint program run by RecyclingWorks in Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP), and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA).
The forum will focus on procurement strategies and partnerships that aim to reduce waste. Attendees will hear presentations and participate in interactive discussion to consider topics such as minimizing single use materials and packaging, matching materials with recycling outlets, and reducing food waste at the source. The event will showcase programs from manufacturing facilities, higher education campuses, and corporate office settings. Attendees will also have opportunities to network with other local businesses and institutions.
