The increase in food donations from large food service providers like a Wegmans grocery store has led the Burlington Food Pantry to expand hours and also has created a need for more volunteers to pick up food donations and deliver them to the pantry. Burlington Food Pantry currently serves about 350 people per month, 35 percent of which are children and 11 percent senior citizens.
