China’s Ministry of Environmental Protection recently prohibited the importation of scrap materials including some grades of recovered paper and plastic. Jerry Powell, founder of Resource Recycling, Inc., will provide updates on recycling markets for paper, plastics, metals and other commodities in the U.S. He will talk about the potential impact of import bans on materials including unsorted paper and mixed plastics.
