Household Goods, located at 530 Main Street, Acton, provides a full range of donated furniture and household items, free of charge, to help people in need make a home.

Furniture and household items can be brought to to 530 Main St in Acton. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Household Goods is currently accepting donation drop-offs by appointment only. Visit the website for details. For a complete list of items we accept, please see our Donation Guidelines.

Each year, Household Goods helps 2,500 families throughout eastern and central Massachusetts make a home. We do this with the help of over 850 volunteers, who commit over 30,000 hours of their time, and by working with over 300 social service agencies who identify and refer people in need of furniture and household goods. Over the past 28 years, Household Goods has served over 35,000 individuals and families.
