DESCRIPTION:The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassD
 EP) is establishing a workgroup focused on solid waste facility issues und
 er the umbrella of our Solid Waste Advisory Committee.  This workgroup wi
 ll provide a public forum for discussing capacity\, permitting\, and opera
 tional issues related to solid waste facilities in Massachusetts.  This w
 ill be the kickoff meeting for the group.  It is a public meeting and any
 one is welcome to participate.  MassDEP expects to hold several meetings 
 of this group during 2023.  A more specific agenda will follow later in D
