SUMMARY:Compost Site Operators Practical Skills Virtual Workshop
DESCRIPTION:RecyclingWorks in Massachusetts is hosting a no-cost Practical 
 Skills Compost Site Operators Workshop with an emphasis on composting food
  materials. This two-day virtual workshop will focus on compost site plann
 ing and operational best management practices. This workshop is geared tow
 ards any Massachusetts compost site operators that are currently accepting
  or considering accepting food materials. The workshop will be led by Jame
 s McSweeney of Compost Technical Services. Attendees are welcome to regist
 er for one or both days of the workshop.\nDay 1: Compost Site Planning - M
 arch 23\, 2021 - 10:00am-12:00pm\nThe first day of the workshop will cover
  planning\, design\, and operational considerations for newly established 
 sites of all sizes\, ranging from community gardens to large commercial op
 erations. Representatives from The Massachusetts Department of Environment
 al Protection and The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources w
 ill present on composting regulations and permitting and be available for
