SUMMARY:Recycling Resources for Salem Businesses Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is hosted by the City of Salem and RecyclingWorks
  in Massachusetts.\n\nThis free workshop is open to all businesses\, insti
 tutions\, landlords\, and property managers in Salem interested in learnin
 g more about recycling and other waste diversion strategies. Representativ
 es from the Salem Health Department and Salem Solid Waste &amp\; Recycling
  Department will provide an overview of Salem Board of Health Regulation #
 7\, municipal recycling requirements and resources. RecyclingWorks in Mass
 achusetts (RecyclingWorks) will describe the free services that are availa
 ble to help your business implement or expand its recycling program.\n\nDu
 ring this event\, RecyclingWorks will discuss\n\n 	The business case for r
 ecycling and waste reduction activities.\n 	An overview of MassDEP waste b
 ans.\n 	Guidance for businesses contracting for trash\, recycling\, and fo
 od waste hauling services.\n 	Best practices for implementing or expanding
  your recycling program\, including signage\, training\, and employee enga
 gement.\n 	Successful examples of recycling programs at other businesses a
 nd institutions.\n 	Additional opportunities for waste reduction and diver
 sion beyond recycling\, food donation\, separating food scraps for compost
 ing\, and office furniture reuse.\n 	The free technical assistance availab
 le to Salem businesses and institutions through the RecyclingWorks program
 .\n\nAttendees will have the opportunity to network with representatives f
 rom other local businesses and recycling service providers.\n\nLight refre
