SUMMARY:MassDEP Organics Subcommittee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The next meeting of the Massachusetts Department of Environment
 al Protection’s (MassDEP’s) Organics Subcommittee will be held from
  10:00 – 12:00 pm on Wednesday\, April 17\, 2019. The meeting will be
  held at MassDEP’s Boston Office\, located at One Winter Street in Bosto
 n. This meeting will continue the presentation and discussion from the Mar
 ch 19th meeting on food waste reduction and diversion from small business 
 generators and residents. The meeting will then shift to the development o
 f an updated Organics Action Plan focused on continuing to reduce and dive
 rt food waste from disposal in the coming decade.The current Organics Acti
 on Plan is available here. As discussed at the March 19th meeting\, this w
 ill potentially include lowering the threshold for the commercial organics
