The UMass Extension Agriculture and Landscape Program is hosting a one-day symposium on managing phosphorus in organic residuals applied to soils, such as compost, biosolids, manures, and other organics residual sources. This symposium will help develop guidelines for getting the benefits from applying organic residuals without the negative environmental impacts caused by phosphorus runoff.
